About us

Mt Hotham is Victoria’s premier alpine resort offering a range of year-round tourism experiences and services that attract and sustain a mountain community of residents, staff and visitors.

The resort is situated on Crown Land and is managed by the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board (RMB).  The RMB is a State Government statutory authority responsible for the operation, promotion, and development of Mt Hotham.

About the role

The Executive Assistant is responsible for administrative and executive support to the CEO, Board of Directors and associated committees. The successful applicant will deliver a range of executive and organisational support functions working closely with the CEO, providing secretariat functions to the Board and administrative assistance to the Executive team.

The Executive Assistant is an important member of the RMB team who needs to be responsive to the changing and challenging needs of the organisation. To be successful you will bring a professional “can do” attitude, and strengths in rapport building and organisational skills. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Organise and coordinate multiple internal and external meetings including management of notifications, room bookings, and preparation and distribution of meeting materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and executive including diary management, travel coordination, information dissemination and ad hoc corporate projects.
  • Coordinate RMB corporate functions and events 
  • Provide Board secretariat functions, coordinate meetings and associated documentation, travel and catering

About you

Employing your prior experience and exceptional administrative and organisational ability, you will contribute to the smooth running of corporate activities 

  • Administration qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated practical experience in corporate administrative role 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks and activities
  • An interest and willingness to work in an alpine environment
