We’re pleased to announce the sale of Hotham Airport to Altiset Property, a specialised Alpine Development arm of the Grollo Group of Companies, who have been responsible for some of the most significant and successful Australian Alpine Developments in the past decade. Why drive when you could fly? Mt Hotham boasts Australia’s highest fully operational commercial aerodrome for commercial and private or charter flights. Hotham is accessible from airports in both Victoria and NSW, with an approximate flight time of 45 minutes from Lilydale, Essendon, or Moorabbin airports, 30 minutes from Albury and Canberra, and 50 minutes from Sydney.

Charter Flights

Hotham Airport provides an experience unique among Australian airports, allowing visitors to arrive by charter or personal flights. Imagine the thrill of flying over Australia's magnificant high country, landing in Victoria's highest alpine resort, and being in the resort within half an hour of landing.

Personal Flights

If you would like to fly yourself in to Hotham Airport, please contact Jason Williams, Airport Manager - You can download the Airport Use Request here. Pilots should always check NOTAMS for current information.

Charges: $22.00 inc GST per passenger on arrival and $22.00 inc GST per passenger on departure.

Refuelling services (Jet A1) are provided by Mt Hotham Airport. Credit card payments are accepted. A call-out fee is applicable after hours and outside of the designated ski season.

De-icing services are available on-site by prior arrangement, rates on application.
