Rodeo riders from all corners of the country will travel to Omeo to participate in the annual Omeo Rodeo on Easter Saturday.
The day includes a packed program of events from bull riding and roping to barrel races and steer riding while spectators can try their luck on a mechanical bull.
The first Omeo Rodeo was held on Easter Saturday in 1955 and since then has continued on as an annual event and annual High Country tradition every Easter.
As an affiliate of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association the Omeo event partners with the Buchan Rodeo, held on Easter Sunday, with the rider with the highest combined points from both events awarded the All Round Cowboy Buckle.
The Omeo Rodeo takes place on Easter Saturday, April 11, 2020 commencing at 10am.
Afterwards you're invited to the Hilltop Hotel where The Mason Boys, Christie Lamb and Jade Gibson are all playing.
