Australia's longest running polo match is back at Cobungra and happening again on Easter Sunday.
Founded 31 years ago, this match sees the Geebung’s take on the Cuff ‘n’ Collar’s in a high stake’s polo contest.
The annual event at Cobungra Station is more than just polo with the famous high country tug of war, frozen chook throwing competition and stunt riding by mountain cattlemen also taking place.
There will be helicopter joy flights, live music from Imogen Price and the alps loving DJ Eddy and plenty for the kids with face painting and a jumping castle.
You’ll be catered for by a series of food vendors from pizzas, baked potatoes, kebabs and even tucker for vegos all available, along with Blizzard Brewery providing craft ales.
If you’re looking for a fun way to spend Easter Sunday than head to Cobungra Station, back the ute up to the boundary line and enjoy a great day out. Gates open at 10:30am.
