Flicks against fires

2 Nights of FREE Film magic

Saturday 7 March & Sunday 8 March

Dinner Plain has a huge Labour Day Long Weekend lined up, featuring not one, but TWO fantastic short film festival events.

With an outdoor screen at Cobungra Platter (Dinner Plain's ski slope), settle in for a film experience under the stars on both Saturday and Sunday night. Supported by food stalls by local vendors and a Blizzard Brewery can-bar, bring your picnic blankets, bean bags and warm woolies and enjoy two great nights of films, completely FREE.

SATURDAY MARCH 7 - FLICKERFEST 2020
Screening 8:15pm Cobungra Platter (Ski Slope)

Flickerfest is Australia’s only Academy® Qualifying and BAFTA-Recognised Short Film Festival, and the country’s largest Australian and International short film competition, screening the best of shorts from Australia and around the world, hand-picked from 3,500 entries. Dinner Plain is set to screen their Best of Australian Short Film program where the cream of Australian short film excellence will be front and centre.

SUNDAY MARCH 8 - BRIGHT MOUNTAIN FILM TOUR
Screening 8:15pm Cobungra Platter (Ski Slope)

The Bright Mountain Film Tour (BMFT) is a celebration of mountain culture and those who embrace it. The films are handpicked by a panel of local enthusiasts, all experts in their related fields of filmmaking, mountain sports and tourism. BMFT was forced to cancel the last night of their tour (yep, those fires) and Dinner Plain is thrilled to hosting a completely FREE encore performance for all who missed out!
