Hotham welcomes Qantas flights from Brisbane to Albury

Posted 11 March 2021

Qantas's announcement that it will be running three flights per week from Brisbane to Albury during the 2021 snow season has been welcomed by the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board as a positive step to help snow-mad Queenslanders indulge their passion.

Hotham regularly sees winter visitors from the sunshine state each winter, and the resort management board is anticipating that many will be keen to visit in 2021 after a disappointing 2020 season.

"We're looking forward to seeing our interstate friends out on the slopes again this year and it's encouraging that Qantas are supporting the snowsports industry in this way," said Anita Coia, spokesperson for the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board.

Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye on Hotham's website to take advantage of early bird pricing for resort entry season permits, which will go on sale on 1 April 2021.
