About
This is one of Hotham’s shortest and most rewarding little alpine strolls — perfect for families, casual walkers, or anyone wanting a quick viewpoint without committing to a long hike.
From the end of Davenport Drive, a short rocky ascent leads you to the summit of Little Mt Higginbotham, where you’ll be treated to beautiful southern views toward the Dargo High Plains and sweeping outlooks over the Hotham villages.
Although brief, the walk provides open views across the Mt Hotham villages and to the south. The terrain includes some uneven and rocky sections, but the distance is short enough to be suitable for most walkers.
A short, steep route with BIG rewards for the small amount of effort required.
