Rooftop Run

HOME / Rooftop Run

Bogong to Hotham

A legendary mountain ultra that traverses the rooftop of Australia’s High Country. Renowned as one of the toughest mile-for-mile races in the country, this epic challenge rewards trail runners with jaw-dropping views, an unforgettable experience, and a true test of grit and endurance.

B2H is a legendary race steeped in Australian trail running history. Starting at Mountain Creek Campground, runners tackle the ascent of Victoria’s highest peak, Mt Bogong, before descending T-Spur to Big River. From there, the climb up Duane’s Spur leads to the stunning Bogong High Plains. After passing through the main aid station at Langford Gap, the course continues across alpine meadows, drops to the Cobungra River, and finishes with a final climb up Swindler’s Spur to the summit of Mt Hotham.

With three distances to choose from - 29km, 35km, and 64km - there’s a challenge for every runner. Whether you're chasing a personal best or soaking in the mountain air, B2H is a bucket-list event for trail enthusiasts.
