High Country and Beyond (HC&B) is a unique annual 4WD event converging on Dargo and run by High Country & Beyond Inc, a not for profit club who are passionate about the outdoors and keen to share their knowledge and experience.

Get away from it all on the 37km Falls-Hotham Alpine Crossing, a 3 day walk through the Alpine National Park linking the resort villages of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham.

Dinner Plain has you covered for all your NYE firework needs. Located right in the centre of the village, on and around the roundabout, there'll be food stalls, music and dancing. Festivities start from 7:30p with the fireworks commencing at 9:00pm.
