Sales Support Associate - Educational Travel

The Role 

We are looking for self-motivated Sales Support Associate to support the Snow and Sports Division an educational product that can inspire, challenge and change people’s lives! The Sales Support Associate (SSA) partners with our team of Account Managers to provide seamless communication and administrative support for our amazing tours, ensuring that every detail is set to give our teachers and students the experience of a lifetime.
The SSA has the opportunity to build on-going relationships with our customers and our Account Manager’s as they deliver scheduled tasks and exceptional customer service. The SSA will proactively support teachers facilitating educational experiences beyond the classroom for their students. In this role, you will see all the elements of the program come together, coordinating with WS Australia’s operations team you will be the one providing seamless service to ensure the success of all of our tours.
 

Responsibilities 

 

•    Proactively engage with the teachers you support, working closely with Account Managers to ensure that teachers and the groups they lead are fully prepared to travel with every T crossed and every i dotted.
•    Answer and troubleshoot incoming service calls and emails, with superior customer service, accuracy & timely responses, and creative solutions when needed.
•    Track and remind teachers about important deadlines and tasks required to be followed up.
•    Review school accounts to answer questions, adjust as required, and coordinate with the accounts receivable team.
•    Follow up with teachers regarding travel requirements applicable to their destination.
•    Review rooming arrangements for each group to ensure timely reservations are made correctly.
•    Follow up any flight deviation requests.
•    Create promotional materials such as PowerPoint presentations, custom tour itineraries and posters used to demonstrate our product to prospective clients.
•    Communicate and coordinate with WS Australia Operations team members to ensure efficient co-ordination of all of the following:
- Flight bookings 

- Land transfers
- Hotel bookings
- Lift lesson and rental bookings
- Statutory resort entry pre bookings.
•    Collaborate with marketing, product development and other departments, as applicable, to improve upon existing resources.
•    Support the sales team with additional administrative tasks, where required.
 

Requirements

 
•    A Bachelor’s degree preferred
•    Amazing customer service skills
•    Knowledge in the domestic and international snow fields and a passion for all things Alpine
•    A passion for travel and education
•    Demonstrated ability to meet or quotas and measurable performance goals
•    Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees and clients in a diplomatic and professional manner
•    The ability to build strong relationships externally and internally
•    The ability to deal with objections and problem solve
•    Highly self-driven and motivated 
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new software quickly
•    Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and have strong prioritisation skills
