Summit Trainer is Back!

Morning all. After a dramatic alpine sunrise it looks as though it'll be a nice sunny day in the mountains.

The current temp is 2.9 degrees and we're headed for a top of 7 degrees. The wind is light to moderate out of the NW.

Once the wild weather cleared our Ops team was able to get out and rebuild the Summit Trainer slope which is great news. Today the Summit Trainer carpet is scheduled to roll from 9am. So if you're a beginner and want to get the early season legs going get out there and make the most of it.

Cheers, Burner.

Backcountry Conditions

The cover is very thin and marginal in the backcountry. Only the higher elevation areas are skiable (just) in places, but beware of south facing and shaded slopes that may be icy and slick. Take care.

The toboggan slope was groomed again last night and will be open for lots of fun sliding today. Take the free bus to bus stop 12.

Welcome to winter 2026. We do have some snow however not enough currently to allow for grooming of our trails. If you venture out, ski with great care due to thin cover. I will keep you updated as to when grooming commences. See you on the trails when things get going..cheers Bev
