Location

The Austen has a friendly, warm atmosphere and offers welcoming living areas for you to relax by the fire in the company of fellow skiers. It's nestled in the Dargo subdivision near the edge of a huge ravine that overlooks the Southern Alps. And, conveniently it's just a short walk over snow-covered tracks to the commercial establishments and to the free village buses that take you to the central summit. 

You'll find groomed Cross-country Ski Trails begin near the Lodge and stretch for kilometres in either direction, whilst alpine skiers can ski down the Frosty Drop trail to meet the main ski runs and lifts.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations are to be notified to the Booking Officer immediately. If the Booking Officer receives cancellation with 21 days or more before the first date of stay, you'll receive an 80% refund. If the Booking Officer receives cancellation in less than 21 days from the first date of stay no refund is available. Please note, any requests for refunds are to be made in writing to the committee.
