Visiting Hotham these School Holidays?
There's plenty happening across the Hotham and Dinner Plain to keep the whole family entertained, from scenic chairlift rides and kids' activities to events, après, and more!
Explore Hotham from above, with a scenic ride on the Big D Chairlift.
From Saturday, 27 June, the chairlifft will be open for scenic rides from 10AM - 3PM, allowing guests to enjoy the alpine views and explore the surroundng area, before returning via the chairlift or on foot.
Tickets are avaialable to purchase in-resort only, at Mini Box (Big D), Hotham Sports (Hotham Central) and Guest Services (Hotham Central).
Saturday & Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm at Hotham Hub
Bring the kiddies along to Hotham Hub these school holidays for a fun-filled escape from the cold! Our indoor program is packed with activities to keep young adventurers entertained, including movies, a silent disco, arts and crafts, games, dancing and more. While the kids play, warm up and refuel with hearty food and delicious drinks from the Hub Café — the perfect family-friendly spot to relax and recharge at Hotham. All children must be accompanied by and adult at all times
Enjoy the thrill of toboganning in Dinner Plain on the Peashooter Toboggan Slope. Open daily from 10am-4pm at Cobungra Flat (subject to conditions), entry is $10 per person, with kids under three free when accompanied by a paying adult. Toboggan hire not included.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the Scrubbers End Shelter, where you'll also find a café and toilets. Toboggan hire is available from Hotham Sports, Hoys Ski Hire in Dinner Plain, or the Scrubbers End Café.

Howling Huskys offer dog sled tours around the snow gums, as well as wheeled tours with the huskies when there is no snow. Meet and greet with up to 70 huskies, and enjoy a tour or dog sled demonstrations. You will find them this season at Dinner Plain and Wire Plain. The Dinner Plain Hotel reopens its doors from 5pm on Friday 26 June, serving up a brand-new Smokehouse Menu featuring delicious burgers, brisket and cold tap beers.
Come down for a FREE tasting of the new Alpine Ember Micro distilled batch moonshine (while stocks last), and try a range of Moonshines all made onsite, local Beer, some of the best homemade Pasta’s on The Mountain, along with our legendary Pizza Paddles! Drink Specials and pot luck food specials too! Australia’s Highest Moonshine Distillery is open for tastings from 4:30pm daily.
