Is your child keen on learning to ski or snowboard? Designed to instil a love for snow and provide a safe, nurturing environment for learning and progression our Kids Club beginner deal is perfect for your children.

• Check-in commences at 9:30am

• Lesson duration is 2.5 hours, commencing at 10am sharp

• Check-in on-snow out the front of Hotham Central

• Pick up is at 12.30pm

• This product is available for children aged 7-14 years and caters to beginner skiers and snowboarders only - ability levels: Koala (1) or (2) Possum.

  • Skiers: Koala (1) first time skiing or still learning how to stop using a snowplough. I am learning how to balance and slide on my skis with the goal being to make a snowplough stop. Possum (2) I can stop using a snowplough on beginner terrain. I am ready to learn how to make small turns.

  • Snowboarders: Koala (1) never snowboarded before. In their first lesson, guests will be learning snowboard basics and one-footed sliding skills. Possum (2) second day of lessons. In the second lesson, guests will get more confident moving around on their snowboards. Guests will begin learning side slips, falling leaf and heel and toe side slipping with two feet strapped in.

• Helmets are mandatory for all children participating in lessons.

• Capacity is limited each day. Changes to purchases made on incorrect dates may not be available if the required date is sold out.

• New Mountain Access Card(s) ordered online can be collected at one of our lift ticket pick up machines in the resort on arrival.

Our beginner package is designed for adult skiers and snowboarders who have never tried the sport before. It’s the perfect package for your first snow experience. This package includes a limited beginner lift ticket and a 2-hour Beginner Lesson at 10:00am each day. This package will have you progressing on the slopes in no time.

• Lessons meet daily at 9.45am & commence at 10:00 (2 hour duration).
