Lift Ticket Purchase & Pick Up
How do I pick up my lift ticket?
Lift ticket access will be uploaded onto your Mountain Access Card. You can hit the slopes faster by collecting your card at our lift ticket pick up machines.
If you have an existing Mountain Access card attached to your account, lift access will automatically be loaded to your account following your lift ticket purchase, and you can use your existing card to head straight to the lifts when you arrive at Hotham.
If you have purchased a new Mountain Access Card with your online order, you can collect your card on arrival in resort at one of our lift ticket pick up machines. Simply scan the QR code located on your order confirmation email, or in My Account under “Lift Pass QR Codes”, at one of our ticket pick up machines and your card(s) will be printed. Please note: A photo must be added to your account before your tickets can be collected. Mountain Access Cards will not be mailed out prior to your arrival in resort and must be purchased online and collected at one of our lift ticket pick up machines in resort.

- Public Shelter, Loch Carpark
- Hotham Sports, Dinner Plain
- Rays Ski Shop (Myrtleford)
What deals are available on lift ticket, lessons, and rentals?
For multi day tickets of 3 days or more, you can access the lifts for free from 3pm on the day IMMEDIATELY PRIOR to the selected start day of your lift ticket.
This deal also extends to your rental equipment if you have booked with Hotham Sports.
Can I purchase a lift ticket for the same day I want to ski or ride?
Yes, you can purchase same-day lift tickets online and collect them at our lift ticket pick up machines that are spread throughout the resort. For the biggest savings, purchase your lift tickets online and in advance.
Can I purchase a half day lift ticket?
Yes, half day tickets can be purchased online. Half day lift tickets are only available for the afternoons, with access to operating lifts starting from 1pm until close.
When you arrive in resort you can collect your lift ticket(s) at our pick up machines that are spread throughout the resort.
Lift Ticket Usage & Resort Access
What lifts can I access with my lift ticket?
Single and multi day lift tickets will provide access to Hotham operating lifts only.
If you’re looking to ski or snowboard all season long at Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham we recommend considering the Epic Australia Pass.
When can I use my lift ticket?
Single day lift tickets must be used on the specific day you booked it for.
Multi day lift tickets must be used across CONSECUTIVE days from the start date of your lift ticket.
For multi day tickets of 3 days or more, you can access the lifts for free from 3pm on the day IMMEDIATELY PRIOR to the selected start day of you lift ticket.
This deal also extends to your rental equipment if you have booked with Hotham Sports.
Can I give my lift ticket to someone else?
No, lift tickets are non-transferrable. Lift tickets are only available for the ticketed guest name and for the date range you purchased. If you wish to change your booking, click here for more information.
Are multi day lift tickets for consecutive days only?
Yes, our multi day lift tickets provide lift access for CONSECUTIVE days from the start date of your lift ticket. For example, if you have a 4-day lift ticket starting Monday, your 4-day lift ticket will be valid from Monday – Thursday.
If you're looking for a 4 day pass where you can ski or snowboard any 4 days of the season at Hotham, Perisher or Falls Creek, we suggest considering the Epic Australia 4-Day Pass.
Do you offer scenic chairlift rides?
No, foot passengers are prohibited from using lifts at Hotham. Chairlifts are for skiers and snowboarders only.

Booking Changes & Cancellations
Is my lift ticket refundable?
If your plans change you have the option to either cancel or change your booking.
Changes or cancellations that result in money being payable back to the purchaser will be issued in the form of a Snow Credit. No cash refunds will be issued.
Any requested changes of cancellations to bookings must be made at least 48 hours or more prior to the earliest scheduled commencement date of your booking.

Specialty Tickets
I am an Epic Australia Pass holder, how do I use my Bring a Mate lift tickets?
Epic Australia Pass holders receive 6 Bring A Mate invitations. Bring A Mate invitations can be shared with mates for access to up to 50% off single day lift tickets, valid across Hotham, Falls Creek or Perisher
To send your Bring A Mate invitations:
- Sign in and select ‘Bring A Mate’
- Select the invitation(s) you wish to send, complete the contact information for your mate and select “Send”
- Your invitations will then reflect which have been sent and/or used by your mate, and which are still available

I or a family member are a disabled skier or rider, do you have any discounts?
Season Long Access
The Epic Australia Adaptive Pass provides season-long lift access to Hotham, Falls Creek or Perisher. Plus, lift access to the best resorts in North America, at a discounted rate for guests with permanent disabilities.
Single or Multi Day Access
We provide Disabled Wintersport Australia (DWA) members and Companion Card holders with a 50% discount on single and multi day lift tickets (adult & child).
This concession applies both to the DWA Member/Companion Card holder with a disability and a person providing on-snow support if needed.
Please follow these steps to purchase your discounted lift tickets online
- Create or sign in to My Account
- Contact us with a copy of your current DWA membership card or companion card
- We will confirm when your discount is linked to your account via the email address provided
- Sign in to the online shop and purchase your discounted tickets. The discount will be applied once you have added lift tickets to your cart and assigned these lift tickets to your name.

Permitted Equipment
PERMITTED SKI EQUIPMENT
Mount Hotham lifts and trails are designed for use by guests using alpine and cross country skis or snowboards affixed to their feet by a range of binding systems and standardized adaptive ski devices and equipment for individuals with disabilities. Allowed devices will have metal edges and a retention system such as a leash or properly working brakes that must be worn at all times.
