With consistent snowfalls this season and amazing work from our mountain operations team, we’re excited to have all lifts spinning and the entire mountain open at Hotham! We’ve had 20cm of cold, dry snow in the last 48 hours and conditions are perfect. The north-westerly has blown the snow into the gullies and bowls of Heavenly Valley and the Gotcha Extreme Zone, making for reeling powder sprays with every turn this morning.
With the snow base currently at 139cm and freshies on offer, Hotham is living up to its reputation as being Australia’s ‘powder capital’. With more snow on horizon, the 1.5m base mark is well and truly in sight.

Don’t forget, Heavenly Valley First Tracks is now open! Be amongst the first in Australia to hit the slopes with First Tracks at Hotham from 7:30am every Wednesday to Sunday for Epic Australia Pass holders. Set your alarm early and drop-in to some of the best lifted terrain in the country!
