The Snowgies will be contributing proceeds from ticket sales to DWA. Snowgies: From 7:00pm Thursday 20th September at Arco. $15 per ticket (cash only) gets you a shot on arrival, raffle for a snowboard or dartboard, DJ Eddy on the decks from 7pm, prizes for best dressed. Tickets available at Arco and MHSC Guest Services or at the door at Arco on the night.
DWA has grown from founders Ron Finneran and Nick Dean in the Piano Bar at Thredbo in 1978, to an organisation with over 1,100 members nationwide. DWA is now the national sporting organisation (NSO) body responsible for adaptive winter sports in Australia, and every year assists thousands of people with disabilities to participate in winter sports.
The Hotham community is an enthusiastic supporter of DWA’s activities, and a number of DWA clients and associates are well-known faces around the mountain.
