40CM Storm Total, Get ready for Hotham!

The snowstorm delivered, dropping 40cm of fresh snow across the resort over the past few days bringing the base up to 84cm. With more snow on the way, this season is shaping up to be all-time. 

With great conditions, comes a busier resort – we’ve put together a guide to prepare for Peak Snow Days at Hotham. Here are some of our top tips to be prepared: 

• Stay in the know: Keep an eye on the Snow Report, Lift Report, and the Hotham App for the real-time updates on weather and lift operations. 

• Bring snow chains: Snow chains are legally required to enter the resort. You can buy or rent them - just make sure they’re the correct size for your vehicle and know how to fit them properly. 

• First time skiing or snowboarding? Start on the Cobungra Platter slope at Dinner Plain with a Dinner Plain Only Lift Ticket. It’s perfect for beginners! If you’re up at Hotham, look at our Beginner Bundle. 

• Get your bearings: Familiarise yourself with Hotham’s Village Map, where you’re staying and the free shuttle bus network.
