NIGHT SKIING

NIGHT SKIING AND BOARDING

HOME / Night Skiing and Snowboarding

The fun doesn’t have to stop once the sun goes down.

The Big D lights up every Wednesday and Saturday night, allowing you to continue your ski and snowboard adventures into the night! This season, with the new Big D Terrain Park, you can look forward to a whole new night riding experience with features open and ready to ride well into the evening. Not quite ready to hit the park or keen to watch your friends/kids/partner rip down? There will be plenty of space for that too!

Scheduled to start June 28.

Our dedicated slope and terrain park team will maintain snow conditions to provide a skiing and snowboarding playground for all those wanting to experience the thrill of night-time riding from 6:30-8:30pm.

Night skiing and boarding is FREE* for Epic Australia Pass and Epic Australia 4-Day Pass holders.

*Night Skiing or Boarding is free with the 4-Day Pass if you have already skied or boarded that day. If not, Night Skiing counts as one of your 4 days.

Make sure to check our Lifts and Terrain page as sessions can be subject to weather and terrain access.

The entire Big D lights up every Wednesday and Saturday night in peak season (weather and snow permitting) so you can continue your skiing and boarding into the night!

Night skiing and boarding is FREE for Epic Australia Pass holders.

If you're an Epic Australia 4-Day Pass holder, night skiing and boarding is free if you have already skied or boarded that day. If not, night skiing will count as 1 of your 4 days.

If you already have a single or multi-day lift ticket for a date that includes night skiing (a Wednesday or a Saturday), you can buy a discounted night skiing ticket for that same day.

To get the discount:

  1. First, complete your lift ticket purchase (checkout and payment must be done).
  2. Then, log back into the online shop and go to the Night Skiing page.
  3. Select your date, add the Night Skiing ticket to your cart, and go to the 'Assign Products' page.
  4. Assign the ticket to the guest who has the qualifying lift ticket. The discount will automatically apply at this step.

If you do not have a valid lift ticket for the day that you’d like to participate in night skiing, you will pay the full night skiing rate for that day.

Please note, Night Skiing is not suitable for first time skiers and snowboarders. To ensure a safe and fun experience, the number of Night Skiing tickets available to be bought will be limited and may sell out.

When: Wednesday and Saturday’s, starting June 28
