What you need to know

Mighty Mites is back for 2024, offering both half day morning lessons and full day programs.

Our Mighty Mites ski program is available for youngsters aged between three and six years old. The program involves small class sizes and utilises extra indoor staff to assist and help maximise your child’s Mighty Mites experience.

If you require rental equipment, we advise you get fitted the evening before your lesson. Hotham Sports Kids is conveniently located within the Big D building and can cover all your child’s equipment hire needs.

You must arrive at the Big D and have your child ready to hit the snow by registering your child between 9.00am and 9.45am. Once registration has closed, we cannot guarantee your child a spot in the program on that day.

Children are required to be at least 3 years of age, toilet trained and in underwear for this program.

If your child is staying for a full day program, please pack some indoor shoes for your child for afternoon activities.

For information regarding Anaphylaxis please read our Anaphylaxis Policy.

Meeting place

All Mighty Mites participants will meet inside the Big D building which is located at bus stop number five.

Registration is between 9:00-9:45am.

Mighty Mites Full Day Programs (3-6 years)

Maximise your time on the slopes with our new Mighty Mites full day programs.

While we aim to provide as much time on snow as possible, some children in full day programs will spend time in the afternoon inside our activity centre, downstairs at the Big D. This will be assessed on the day based on age, weather conditions and how the group is feeling.

Lunch is provided for all children in full day programs, please let us know of any dietary requirements when checking your child in.

Pick up is at 3:00pm from the Big D.

Bookings will be available closer to the start of the season.

Lift access is not included in your lesson purchase and all lesson participants require a valid lift ticket regardless of their ability level. Find out more about lift tickets here.

Children aged 3 & 4 participating in Snowsports Lessons are eligible for free lift access. Please note you will need to purchase this access online, in advance and ensure your child has a valid Mountain Access Card.
