Terrain Parks

Delight in our two Terrain Parks with features to suit thrill seekers as well as those new to the freestyle world. You can also make the most of our world-class Ridercross course. Choose to race your friends and family over the berms and jumps.

With the removal of the Playground double chair, including the towers in the summer of 2022/23, the terrain to skiers right on the Sun Run has been opened up, and this season, will be home to Hotham’s new Terrain Park, aptly named ‘The Playground’.

Summit Terrain Park

The Terrain Park is situated skiers right of the Summit Chairlift. The park features beginner, intermediate and advanced lines of jumps, rails and boxes throughout the area. Please note that this park is snow and weather dependent and the Terrain Park Crew judges opening depending on these conditions.

The Australian Ski Areas Association recommends the wearing of helmets for skiing and riding, and encourages you to educate yourself on the benefits of helmet usage.

All guest participants, of whatever age, in a Snowsports School or other resort departments such as Resort Team or Winter Sports Clubs, which involve or include terrain parks, pipes, skier/boarder cross and/or race courses are required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet.

All guest participants in the Kids Snowsports School Programs are required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet, and that there be no opt out facility or ability by a parent or guardian. Helmets are provided to all children renting equipment and /or participating in a Kids Snowzone lesson program.
