Heavenly Valley Chair is SPINNING!

The wait is over! Hotham’s favourite lift is now spinning - opening the gateway to some of our steepest and most iconic terrain for advanced and expert riders.  

A strong run of snowmaking nights meant we could build coverage low into the valley, bringing back the exhilaration of Heavenly Valley laps we’ve been missing. 

Imagine and Milkyway are groomed and ready. The remainder of the zone will stay ungroomed for now. Due to challenging snow conditions, the entire zone – including Imagine and Milkyway – is currently suitable for advanced and expert riders only, with marginal cover and icy conditions throughout. Only load the lift if you’re confident at this level, and know your group’s ability before you go. Please follow all signage and ride with care. 

A huge thanks to our ops and Ski Patrol teams who’ve been out there around the clock, maximising every opportunity to bolster coverage, prep terrain and get some more of the steep stuff open. 

Patience pays off in vertical. See you out there! 

Settle in and indulge at Hotham’s newest Italian gem, Viva Alpina - your new go-to for unwinding after a big day on the mountain. Happy hour runs daily from 4-6pm, with $20 jugs and $20 cocktails. Stay on for dinner and make the most of weekly specials: pizza plus a house wine or beer for $25 on Sundays, and a pasta dish plus a house wine or beer for $25 on Tuesdays. Book a table.
