This season our snowmaking team is packing more punch than ever. We’re excited to share the news that over the last 18 months we’ve invested in 8 new, state-of-the-art mobile snow guns. For the gearheads out there, that’s five TechnoAlpin T40 and three TR 10 mobile fan guns to be precise. Yes, the heavy artillery is out.
Why mobile snow guns you ask? The beauty of Hotham’s newly expanded snowmaking fleet is in their flexibility. Our mountain team can gaze into their crystal snow globes, channel their inner weather sensei and manoeuvre the guns around the resort like master chess players. Our mountain experts can anticipate the ideal places to make more snow, right where it is needed.
What does this all mean for Hotham guests? We are continuing to invest in getting the runs you love open sooner and offering the best possible snow conditions all season long. From the Summit and Sun Run, to Imagine, Snake Gully and more, we have it covered.
