It has been an exciting start to May with our first autumn dusting on Thursday, low temps predicted for the next few days and the start of snowmaking last night.
The temps dropped to -3.3C overnight, creating the ideal conditions for snowmaking at Hotham and our expert teams plan to make the most of this week’s cool weather to build a solid base for the upcoming snow season.
Paired with the natural snow in the forecast, the early snowmaking will create better snow quality and offer more terrain for opening weekend in June.
