A Heavenly start to the long weekend

Heavenly Valley, Big D and Road Runner started spinning for the first time this morning for what is one of the best Queen’s Birthday weekends we’ve had in a long time!

Our mountain ops teams were on the ground working hard to get everything open safely as early as possible this winter. The long weekend kicked off with the Village lift spinning with a surprise start on Friday afternoon for the lucky skiers and boarders already on the mountain.

With so much snowfall over the last few weeks it’s no surprise our resort is in for a busy weekend! If you’re planning on joining us, be sure to lock in your lift tickets, lessons, and rentals in advance. Lift tickets can only be purchased online and collected at our lift ticket pick up machines in either Hotham Central or Big D.

Tonight, we celebrate the start of the season with fireworks in the Basin. Rug up warm and get in prime position for festivities from 6.30pm.
