After two classic Hotham storms during lockdown and more fresh snow since re-opening earlier this week, our resort is a transformed mountain with a snow base of 136cm! Check out how amazing the resort is looking on our new snowcams here.
Our mountain team has been hard at work grooming and digging out chairlifts, so we’re stoked announce we have Gotcha, Keogh’s and Orchard lifts spinning today for the 2021 season!
Check the Hotham App before dropping in and stay tuned to our social channels for updates as we prepare to open up even more of the mountain soon. Will it be The Drift or Blue Ribbon next? Watch this space..
In more exciting news, Heavenly Valley First Tracks is set to run for the first time this season from next Wednesday 4 August. First Tracks is available from 7.30am, Wednesday to Sunday for Epic Australia Pass holders, subject to weather and snow conditions. Set your alarm for an early drop-in to some of the best lifted terrain in the country!
With more snow in the forecast over the next week, you’d be mad not to find a way to get up here. Local legend and Hotham ambassador, Drew Jolowicz is no stranger to an early start and finding the best powder stashes. With August shaping up to have its fair share of freshies, check out Drew’s guide to getting the most out of a Hotham powder day.
If the pics below don’t get you excited to hit the slopes at Hotham, we don’t know what will!
