Hotham and Dinner Plain have more than 35km of cross country ski trails, which provide a way to explore the peaceful snow environment away from the bustle of the downhill ski area. Access to these trails is provided at no extra cost.

35km of Trails

Hotham and Dinner Plain trails include circuits ranging in length from 2-15km. Some trails start from Hotham village, or you can take the free village shuttle bus to Wire Plain, the starting point for most courses. Other trails start around Dinner Plain. Something for everyone!

Lessons & Tours

Whether you're stepping onto cross-country skis for the first time or looking to refine your technique, Traverse Hotham offers group and private lessons, private 1-on-1 coaching and bespoke touring experiences, and Peak To Peak offers lessons for individuals and groups (including school groups!).

Cross country gear can be hired from Hoys at their Hotham Jack Frost and Dinner Plain stores or Ray's Ski Shop in Myrtleford.
