A TASTE OF THE FRENCH ALPS

This August, the Reymond family venue L’Hôtel Gitan will take over Dinner Plain’s Alphutte restaurant with Gitan Alps, a European-inspired mountain restaurant. Envisage rustic French doors opening to a warm timber hideaway fit with banquette seating, roaring fires, delicious alpine food and vin chaud - providing the ultimate antidote to a long day on the pistes.

TRADITIONAL FRENCH CLASSICS

The team behind the Melbourne gastropub will serve traditional French winter classics including Croque Monsieurs, Soupe a l’onion, Coq au vin, and Boeuf Bourguignon, with freshly baked bread from Noisette and French butter, for diners settling in for a well-earned heart warming lunch or cosy dinner. Dessert will delight with alpine staples including fresh Crêpes Suzette, Profiteroles, and rich Godiva hot chocolate.

Gitan Alps will be open for dinner every night from Wednesday 8 August to Tuesday 21 August 2018, and for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please call or email for bookings.
