Snowshoeing is a great way to explore Mt Hotham and its surrounds. If you are looking for something different to do and like to go for walks in the countryside why not try it with some snowshoes on? With fantastic wilderness and alpine views from the top of the Great Dividing Range, Hotham is bound to please any body wanting to recharge from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

GUIDED TOURS

There are a number of excellent snowshoe experiences to choose from at Hotham.

Traverse Hotham offers immersive guided snowshoeing experiences drawing on extensive local knowledge to explore our beautifully diverse alpine terrain, including the signature Sunset Snowshoeing Experience.

Peak to Peak Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoe Tours offer great Snow and Skishoe tours for first time and new adventurers curated to suit your group and experience and including women's groups.

Alpine Nature Exprience's Scenic Snowshoe tour includes a journey to the eco-village and a delicious bonus of fondue, if you so choose.

35KM OF TRAILS

Why not pack your self a picnic lunch, grab a camera and head off on a wilderness journey seldom experienced in our "Big Brown Land". Shoes are available to hire from outlets around the mountain and can be used on the cross country trail network, just remember to stay out of the ski tracks as these are here for the skiers.

Access to trails is included in your resort entry. Check out the Cross Country Trail Guide to find yourself a quiet picnic table or why not try an accent to the top of Mt Hotham and relax into one of the greatest sunsets you will ever see.
