PERMITTED SKI EQUIPMENT

Mount Hotham lifts and trails are designed for use by guests using alpine and cross country skis or snowboards affixed to their feet by a range of binding systems and standardized adaptive ski devices and equipment for individuals with disabilities. ALL permitted devices must have metal edges, proper bindings or retention systems and the ability to load/unload safely.

PERMITTED EQUIPMENT

The following devices are permitted on the trails and lifts of Mount Hotham Ski Resort

  • Alpine/Telemark Skis

  • Snowboards

  • Sit Skis

  • Snow Feet, Ski Skates, Ski Blades, Ski Boards or other "short skis" worn one on each foot

  • Dual snowboards 

  • Mono Skis (with binding brakes)

  • Snowblades/Skiboards (with binding brakes)

  • Cross Country Skis with metal edges (3 pin boot binding type must have a leash)

ALL Devices must have metal edges, proper bindings or retention systems and the ability to load/unload safely.

 

NOT PERMITTED EQUIPMENT

The following devices are not permitted on the trails and lifts of Mount Hotham Ski Resort 

  • Drones

  • Ski Bikes

  • Ski Trikes

  • Snow Decks

  • Tandem Skis

  • Fat Tire Bikes

  • Snowmobiles

  • Snow Scooters

  • Babies in Backpacks

  • Sleds, Tubes and Saucers

  • Toboggans unless in a designated area
