Venues will open their doors for the first time this season - plus, we've got plenty of special events and opening celebrations happening across the mountain to bring in winter 2026.

11:30am - ~1:30pm: French Cheese extravaganza Lunch

9:00pm - late. Live Music at The General Store: Benny Williams
Benny Williams is back with an acoustic set at the Genny.

 

4:00pm - late: Friday Night at Zirky's

Drink specials will be flowing all evening!

9:30am - 4:30pm at Wire Plain
Hotham Hub Snowplay & Activity Centre at Wire Plain will be open for the weekend.

Grab your friends, make a team and come and test your knowledge on all things Hotham and snow! Open for dinner so you can grab a bite to eat and be ready to prove your Hotham and snow wisdom!

An excellent night of live music, great food and special guests!

It's 70’s night at the Genny with White Choc Diva Divine Da Funk playing 'til late

12:30pm Parmesan Wheel Pasta & Wine Experience at Jack Frost

3:00pm - 6:00pm Live Music at Zirky’s
The incredible Mich McManus returns to Zirky’s.
 
3:30pm - 5:30pm Happy Hour at Jack Frost
Jack Frost is open Sunday from 12pm for lunch and dinner. Happy hour from 3.30pm-5.30pm with $1 Wings!
 
3:00pm-6:00pm: Sunday Session at The Bird
Bring in the season with $20 jugs and live DJ tunes at the first Sunday Session for winter 2026!
 

6:00pm: Olympian Darcie Morton at Zirky’s 
Darcie Morton joins us at Zirky’s to talk through her experience competing at Milano Cortina 2026.
 
7:00pm: Warren Miller Movie Night at Zirky's: Sno-ciety
Warren Miller’s latest release Sno-ciety will be screened on the big screen at Zirky’s.
 
9:30pm: DJ Eddy at The Genny
Don't forget your dancing shoes as we bring in winter with Hotham legend DJ Eddy. 
9:00pm - Late: Staff Night at The Genny
First staff night of the season. Alby b2b Gustavo. Enough said.

  • Big Muster Distilling Co Dinner Plain - Open Fri 4.30pm onwards for winter season 7 days a week
  • Friday night, the Zirky’s Bar will be open from 4pm with drink specials flowing all evening. Zirky's open all weekend with great deals, specials and events each day.
  • The Bird Cafe - open 7:30am-3:00pm, with breakfast available from 8am-10:30am (with grab n' go available from 7:30am), and lunch available from 11am-3pm
  • The Bird Bar - open from 11am till late, with yummy bar snacks from 3pm. 
  • Chill bar 8am - late every day
  • Freshies 8am - 2pm every day for fresh food, snacks and drinks on the go.
  • The General Store - 8am-late everyday year-round!
  • The Bird will be open for the season from Saturday, with specials across the weekend including $20 jugs from 3pm - 6pm Sunday.
  • Jack Frost is open Sunday
    12 - 3pm: lunch and drinks
    3:30 - 5:30pm: Happy Hour 2-for-1 cocktails (it's Hot Buttered Whiskey weather!) and $1 wings
    5.30pm: Head in for Dinner to be the first to experience the flavours of the 2026 Dinner Menu
