If you're looking for an unforgettable snow experience, you've come to the right place. Hitting the slopes has never been easier, so whether you're travelling by car, coach or by airplane, you'll find there's plenty of options to get to Mt Hotham. 

RESORT ENTRY

Before you hit the road, it is important to know that during the declared winter season, a Resort Entry permit is required for all vehicles. Resort Entry permits can easily be purchased  in advance online so you are all set for your arrival to the resort.

CHAINS

To ensure you and other road users reach the slopes safely, Diamond Pattern Wheel Chains must be carried and fitted where directed during the declared winter season. There are plenty of options for hiring chains and even some helping hands to fit them to your car!

PARKING & OVERSNOW

Once you enter the resort, there are designated areas for day and overnight parking. Whilst there are always Guest Service staff on hand to assist
you, find out everything you need to know so you are prepared for your arrival.

Mt Hotham is nestled amongst the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range between Harrietville and Omeo. Mt Hotham is accessible via the Great Alpine Road all year round.

Why drive when you could fly? Hotham airport is Australia’s highest fully operational commercial aerodrome for commercial and private or charter flights. Accessible from a range of airports in both Victoria and NSW, approximate flight times are just 30-50 minutes!
