The Milne Shield commemorates and celebrates the achievements of the Milne brothers from Myrtleford. Ross Milne tragically died while participating in the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innnsbruk, Austria. More information on the life of Ross Milne can be found here. Malcolm Milne went on to have an amazing career in downhill skiing becoming the first non European to win a world cup in 1968.
