Preparing for your trip this weekend (Fri 9 Aug - Sun 11 Aug)

We're expecting heavy snowfalls over the next few days, so please take care and allow plenty of time for your journey. (LOTS of fresh snow this weekend, yew!)

Travelling tips

  • If you drive a diesel, fill up on Alpine Diesel or Winter Mix, and we recommend you also use an anti-gel additive as we are expecting very low temperatures.
  • Don't forget your tyre chains! Chain-fitting updates will be available on our website homepage - check under 'Roads' if you're on a mobile.
  • Carry a shovel if possible, as you will most likely need to dig your car out.
  • Leave your chains on when parking, or fit them when parking. Much easier to get out with chains already fitted! Cars without chains are already getting stuck.

Loch Car Park

Please note the Loch Car Park will be closed Thursday 8 Aug and Friday 9 Aug unless advised otherwise, to facilitate road management.
