August is apon us and the whole mountain is buzzing with excitement about the massive line up of events in the weeks ahead. Friday the 11th is the Dragon Rail Jam under lights in the Basin rail park this event is open to all who wish to join the fun and kicks off at 7:30pm. On Saturday Hotham Boardriders are holding a boarder cross competition during the day and then OME ( Ocean Mountain Extreme ) are hosting a Railstyle competition and after party at Swindlers. OME were scheduled to hold a big air comp but due to mother nature not smiling on us it has been switched to a new format with a custom designed course featuring new rails and a quarter pipe. There are $3500 worth of prizes and giveaways to be won.
