10cm of Fresh Snow - What The!

Slalom Gully

29 September 2007

Yes I know Grand Final weekend and Hotham receives 10cm of fresh dry snow. It started snowing yesterday and continued throughout the night, Gav had a devil of a job keeping the main car park cleared as the accompanying wind made life fun for a while.

Just back from a quick ski, a couple of Village loops to end the season (unless of course I manage to sneek out tomorrow), and it was really nice, quite a few skiers and boarders out there enjoying those last few turns, I saw the Graham family telemarking and Kym trying to catch here children.

Good luck to Geelong and Port Adelaide this afternoon.

Plenty of keen skiers and boarders have also been enjoying quite a few nice lines on Heavenly Valley, Maureen (Snowreporter) said HV was great, although she was out there pretty early. Please Ckick here for a few pics.
