Last weekend saw the inaugural Mountain Fresh Festival at Hotham and Dinner Plain Resorts. The festival ran from June 22nd through to June 26th.

The festival consisted of a number of events showcasing gourmet food and wine from the Alpine Valleys. The festival was very well attended and received by Hotham and Dinner Plain visitors. There are plenty of pics in the Photo Gallery, and here, and here.

The plan is to make it bigger and better for 2007, so make sure you note in you diary, 'Must visit Hotham for Mountain Fresh Festival in June 2007'.

Last but not least, a big thankyou to Joy Young, Graham Payne, Kate Elder (Great Alpine Food) and Jane Casey (Cheznut) for making the Master classes so interesting and fun, and thanks to the operators for their efforts.
