Cleaning Up The Slopes

Now that nearly all the snow has melted its time once again to clean up the slopes. Every year Resort Management Environmental Officer Bev Lawance and Lift Company’s Abby Dobell organize a small but dedicated army of people to hit the slopes armed with garbage bags to pick up all the litter that unfortunately finds it way onto our (yours and mine) beautiful ski slopes. An amazing amount of stuff was collected from all over the place. The usual chocolate wrappers, broken sun glasses and pieces of broken ski equipment helped to fill many garbage bags. All in all a great effort by the combined team of Resort Management and the Lift Company and not a bad after sausage sizzle either.
