Well, with Heavenly opening today, who could resist going out for a look? The condition of the snow was nice - soft and fluffy in places, and a nice packed cover. It tried to snow for most of the day so everyone was rugged up and loving being out in the fresh air. Lots of people enjoyed having their first run in Heavenly Valley.

Here's hoping we will get more snow tonight and get some groomed runs on Heavenly tomorrow. With cold temperatures, many people could be seen consuming a nice hot beverage at Snake Gully Hut in between runs.

I felt it only right to stop for a hot choccy myself, then it was back on the skis for a couple more quick runs on the village loop before lunch.
