The ultimate purpose of this Project is to provide a sustainable water cycle at the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort. This will be achieved through the annual reuse of 90 ML of Class ‘A' water. In addition, a water conservation and demand management program will support these initiatives. It will become an icon project of local, state and national significance which will generate triple bottom line benefits based on increasing environmental flows to regional waterways, reinforcing the future viability of the regional economy, and underpinning community prosperity in the region.
