Kalyna Ski Club

Situated on the Great Alpine Road, Mt. Hotham, Kalyna Lodge is well positioned for skiing, socialising, or simply enjoying the beautiful alpine environment.  The Lodge is conveniently located five doors from the Big D ski lift, close to ticket sales and restaurants with the resort buses only a short walk away. Accessible steps from the road makes the Lodge a quick step into your accommodation.

Kalyna offers 16 bedrooms each with an ensuite, accommodating 4, 6 or 8 people that you can book for exclusive use – no sharing unless you choose to.  Kalyna is a self-cater/self clean lodge.

• Linen & towels are BYO, or can be hired for the duration of your stay
• Cleaning equipment is supplied to clean your room during your stay and on departure, or guests can make arrangements with the Lodge Manager for a small fee.
• Large, fully equipped new modern kitchen. Food and drink is BYO (coffee, tea sugar and spices are supplied) Three cook tops, a BBQ grill, two double ovens, three microwaves and ample bench space ensure no queues come meal time. There is allocated refrigerator and cupboard space for each bedroom. A commercial dishwasher makes quick work of the clean up.

Lounge, with central fire place, dining tables, Television and games rooms ensure plenty of space to relax.  A spa is provided, to soothe after a day on the snow.  Austar is available in the TV room and free wireless Internet is available for use (BYO laptop). Other amenities include drying room, fully equipped laundry (BYO laundry detergent), and ski workbench.

Parking

Parking is available in Mt Hotham’s overnight car parks.  Use of the car parks is included in the Mt Hotham Resort entry costs.  The free village bus stops at two locations within 100m of Kalyna, and runs most of the day and night.  There is a 30min loading zone and day parking on the Great Alpine Road right in front of the lodge.
