Snowmaking power has increased by 40% for winter 2010 thanks to our $1.7 million investment
Hotham has 25 hectares of terrain services by snowmaking. An additional 22 snowguns have been added to Hotham's Heavenly Valley snowmaking network, bring the total to 77 high-output fan guns.
Our snowmaking system utilises recycled water from the Hotham Village water treatment plant, whilst all our snowmaking is powered by green energy.
With expanded snowmaking increasing the chance of reliable snow conditions, you can book earlier with confidence knowing you can ride and ski more of Hotham's terrain more often and that's backed by our snow guarantee.
During the 2010 season, snowmaking guns will be fired up as soon as the temperature allows and start produced truckloads of snow per day.
