Hotham Skiing Company currently has two fulltime Reservation Consultant roles available in the Hotham Holidays Reservations Centre.
These roles¬†offer the opportunity to assist in reaching sales targets and playing an integral role in the growth of the business through bookings of managed properties in the Hotham Holidays portfolio and unmanaged properties through other agents and direct. This includes accommodation packages, lift tickets and upselling of additional guest needs such as equipment hire and lessons, activities,¬†insurance, flights¬†and other transport.
Reporting to the¬†Hotham Holidays Senior Supervisor,¬†the positions liaise closely with the Property, Tickets and Marketing teams, as well as external wholesalers, on-mountain booking agents and guests.
These are fulltime roles - Monday to Friday during the Summer months and on a rotating roster in Winter due to 7 day per week operations (based on 38 hours per week over 5 days of work).¬†As a fulltime employee during the Winter you will be entitled to a 2013 ski lift pass, free ski or board group lessons plus great staff discounts and incentives.
Start dates are available in¬†late January and¬†late February/early March.¬†Positions will end in September 2013.

Desired Skills & Experience
To be successful you will need good administration and communication skills. A pleasant phone manner and positive attitude to providing a high level of customer service is essential. Ability to learn quickly by undertaking property famils, insurance training and learning a new reservations system (Hirum) will be key to your success in this small team role.
Experience in¬†a travel agency desirable but not essential.¬†Your knowledge of seasonal holiday destinations will be highly regarded.
