Hotham Daycare is licensed to cater for up to 30 children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years and is a "Class 1 Children's Services Centre" approved by the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. It is renowned for its specialised and professional care; providing qualified and experienced staff that strive to meet the children's individual needs.

There is no better place for on-snow childcare.

Prices & Programs

Full Day Session - 8am to 5pm
Includes all meals: morning and afternoon snack, and lunch
1 child $112
2 children $107 per child (same family)

Half Day Session – Morning: 8am to 12.15pm / Afternoon: 12.45pm to 5pm
Includes snacks: Morning session includes morning snack & lunch and Afternoon session includes afternoon snack.
1 child $87 (morning session) and $76 (afternoon session)
2 children (same family) $82ea (morning session) and $72ea (afternoon session)

Hourly Care - offered when there is availability on that day, hourly care cannot be pre-booked. Per child $28 per hour

Introduction to Ski (subject to availability) from $192 per child for one day
Includes all meals: morning & afternoon snack and lunch

Program 1: From 2 years of age*
Full day “day care” with 1 hour private lesson
*Must be pre-booked 24hrs in advance; Subject to availability & weather; includes morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea; includes skis, ski-boots & helmet for the duration of the lesson.

Program 2: From 3 years of age*
Morning session “Mighty Mites”, afternoon session “Daycare”
*Must be pre-booked 24hrs in advance; Children must be toilet trained; includes morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea; includes transition from Ski School to Day Care; own ski gear required.

How to Book / Registration

To secure a place, it is essential to pre-book session care and “Introduction To Ski” programs in advance.
All bookings need to be made direct with Hotham Daycare either via email or telephone.
A $50 deposit per child per day is required and will be held as a booking deposit which will secure your child's place until full payment is arranged;
All documents and full payment must be received within 7 days prior to attending care.
Confirmation of your booking can be arranged by filling out the Enrolment Form, Daily Routine, Payment Authorisation form and sending them direct to Hotham Daycare either via fax, email or Australian post;
If you plan to arrive later than 9.30am you must contact Hotham Daycare directly or you may forfeit your place and deposit.

Late fees and cancellations
Please enquire at Hotham Daycare for further information regarding cancellations or refer to our policy manual. A late fee of $10 for the first 5 minutes, then $10 per 5 minutes thereafter will be incurred on the occasion of a late pickup. A late fine is applied strictly according to the Daycare reception clock.

Illness
Please enquire at Hotham Daycare for further information relating to illness.

Checking In/Out
Families will be greeted by a member of staff and then referred to the child's primary carer. As much information about the child will then be requested both verbally and in writing. This is to ensure the child's individual needs are met throughout the child's day: sleep requirements, comforters, dummies, allergies, likes/dislikes, etc.

All allergies, medication, illnesses and other specific needs MUST be recorded upon enrolment and verbally notified to Day Care staff.

Children may only leave the Centre with the designated parent/s or guardian/s as stipulated on the child's enrolment form and the Attendance Record Sheet.

What to Bring

A labelled bag with at least one spare change of clothes: pants, underwear, socks, singlet, skivvies and a jumper. Additional changes of clothes may be necessary for children who are toilet training
Labelled disposable nappies - at least 5 for children enrolled for a full day
Labelled packet of bottom wipes
Labelled bottles for children on formula or expressed breast milk. A labelled empty bottle can be supplied for children on dairy or soy milk
Labelled comfort items such as teddies, dummies, and blankets.

Note: All medications and food items must be removed from the child's bag: these items must then be reported to the child's primary carer; labelled and recorded in the appropriate folders.
