The Geebung vs. Cuff 'n' Collar Polo Match is an annual event whereby the 'High Country Cattlemen' take on the 'City Slicker' team in a polo match, as discribed in the historic poem 'The Geebung Polo Club' by AB Patterson.
EVENT DETAILS
The event is a huge day for the whole family including live music, kids running races, giant tug-o-war, frozen chook throwing, fashions on the field, the infamous easter egg drop from a helicopter and of course the main event, the Geebung Polo.
When: Easter Sunday 24 April 2011
Time: Gates open at 10am. A bus service will be providing transfers from Dinner Plain.
LOCATION
Located in Cobungra, the day's festivities take place on the picturesque Cobungra Station, approximately 20km from Dinner Plain on the Omeo side.
TICKETS
Tickets are available for pre-purchase at the Bright and Dinner Plain information centres.
Please note the below prices are for 2011 and should be used as a guide only. 2012 prices will be released early next year.
$25 Adults
$15 Children (under 15yrs; under 6yrs free)
$70 per Family (up to 2 adults & 2 children)
Earlybird discounts available for purchases before 10 April 2011 ($5 off per ticket). Credit card purchases also only availble prior to 10 April 2011.
