We have had a milestone here at Hotham with the very first truckload of baled cardboard leaving the mountain last week.  Our new recycling depot includes a cardboard baler and can store 36 bales weighing on average 250 to 300kgs each! These bales are then taken to
Hotham is extremely proud of its recycling program which also allows for organic waste to be turned into wonderful mulch for your garden! You can assist our staff by separating your recyclables into the correct bins and taping or tying cardboard into bundles.
Well done to our dedicated solid waste management team who do a great job collecting waste and recycling throughout the mountain in the early hours - usually whilst most of us are still warm and asleep in bed!
