Despite Mt Hotham experiencing conditions that made us think we were having an early winter on Saturday, Cool Summer turned on the magic with a display of the very best in cutting edge Australain music. When the weather caused damage to the main outdoor stage on the Big D, event staff and the General Store crew pulled together to ensure that show went on in true Hotham style, and boy did it go off with a bang! Incredible effort team!
The diverse range of artists ensured everyone was dancing in no time (gumboots and all!), with the Hussy Hicks, Nicky Bomba, Sabrina and The Red Vans, and of course the legendary John Williamson all receiving rave reviews. CD’s for these artists were going like hotcakes!
The organisers of Cool Summer are renowned for the care and attention taken to select the artists to ensure a special festival experience for all. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next year!!
