With all of this new snow over the last week and the fact that we get a few centimetres of fresh each night to top it up, we thought we’d better get out early for first tracks to ‘test the product’ – and it didn’t disappoint. We even managed to forego the early morning latte and get ourselves out on the slopes at 7.30am.
The first run on Slalom was superb… fast, flat and all to ourselves. It has been sitting at about -4 in the morning so we were steezing it up… make sure you wear your winter woollies out there, it is certainly fresh.
The highlight of the day was definitely the three glorious powder runs we got on Imagine… 20 cm of fresh and first tracks each time. Couldn’t be better.
Winter is back with a vengeance… be there or be square!
