Quiet on set please! Here is a sneak peak behind the scenes at the location for the Cobungra Ditch Walk promotional DVD which will be filmed at Silver Brumby Hut this weekend.
The DVD will consist of three key historical events that will introduce the mining history of the Mt Hotham region in the lead up to the opening of the resort’s new 12.5km walking trail along the abandoned Cobungra GMCo’s water race, The Cobungra Ditch Walk, in March 2011.
The series will highlight the sudden dismissal of the construction brigade on the water race of the Cobungra GMCo and the protest march undertaken by the ditch workers.
The Cobungra Ditch Walk is set to become the next popular tourist attraction for visitors to Mt Hotham in the non winter months. More information will be released about the trail in the lead up to the official opening in March 2011.
