After pretty much preparing to pack away the sticks for the summer, we got 10cm of fresh powder last night which made for some beautiful fresh turns this morning. What a way to finish off the season. It has been snowing steadily all day and it looks like we'll get another 10 or 20cm over the next 24 hours. It's pretty cold up here at the moment so if you are coming up for one last hurrah, make sure you pack a neck warmer and your best big puffy for the slopes. For the last weekend of September, the snow is fantastic... soft, fluffy and fresh. Jump in the car and head up to Hotham for one last go for 2009, its definitely worth it!
